Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Melo collects, why, and what you can do about it — in plain language. By using Melo you agree to it.

What we collect

• Account email. When you sign up we store your email address (and a securely hashed password) through our authentication provider, Supabase.
• Payment info. Subscriptions and purchases are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe processes payments and shares only what we need to manage your subscription (e.g. status, plan, last four digits).
• Lesson & progress data. Your place in the course, completed lessons, streaks, and game results, so the app can pick up where you left off.
• Basic logs. Standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps) generated when you load the app, used for security and reliability.
• Local storage. We keep small items in your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences (like your chosen input). This stays on your device.

How we use it

• To run the service — sign you in, save your progress, and deliver lessons.
• To manage subscriptions and billing through Stripe.
• To improve the product — understand which lessons work and fix what doesn't.

Who processes your data

We share your data only with the service providers we need to run Melo — for payments, hosting, and sign-in — and with no one else.

No ad tracking

We do not use third-party advertising trackers, and we do not sell your data.

Deleting your data

You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time — just email [email protected] from the address on your account and we'll take care of it.

Age requirement

Melo is for users 13 and older. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission, and they must handle any paid subscription. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the effective date above, and significant changes will be highlighted in the app or by email.
