Effective June 19, 2026
By creating an account or using Melo (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
Melo is an online music-education product that teaches music theory — chords, scales, and progressions — through interactive piano lessons and games. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
You're responsible for your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to be responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
Payments are processed by Stripe. You can cancel an active subscription anytime from Account → manage plan; cancellation stops future charges, and you keep access until the end of the current billing period. Prices may change with notice for future billing periods.
All payments are final and non-refundable. If you have a special circumstance, you can email [email protected] to request a refund — we review requests case by case and may grant one at our discretion, but refunds aren't guaranteed.
Melo's lessons, games, and content are licensed for your personal use only. You agree not to copy, resell, redistribute, share, or publicly post the lessons or content, and not to misuse, scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service.
Melo and its content — lessons, text, designs, software, and branding — are owned by Melo and protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use the Service for your own learning. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Melo is an educational tool; we don't guarantee any specific learning outcome or result. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Melo is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
You may stop using Melo and delete your account at any time (email [email protected]). We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the effective date above, and significant changes will be highlighted in the app or by email. Continuing to use Melo after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts stay in effect.
